WHO        LIVE is a peer ministry for female incest victims who are learning, sharing, goal setting, and praying together for personal growth.


WHY       To help meet the needs of female incest victims who

                   are breaking the destructive bonds of the past.

WHEN         2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, 7:00 P.M TO 9:00 P.M.



LEADERSHIP   The focus is on group sharing and support.  

                    Members volunteer as facilitators to help the group

                    stay focused on sexual abuse issues.



FORMAT      Meetings are limited to two hours starting with a 

                    related reading and reflective meditation or comments.

                Up to 30 minutes may be allotted for educational 

                    purposes.  Group sharing and support continues till

              8:45 P.M.; closing with group prayers for inner strength and growth.




MISSION        To heal the past, live the present positively, and look

                    forward to the future in love and with hope.  We 

                    commit to each other to become free of the lies and

                    ramifications of our abuse.



GOALS  L...Lay persons uniting to support one another

                     I....Inviting victims to be aware of their options when

                        making choices.

                V...Volunteering to speak to groups or individuals 

                        about our goals.

                  E...Engineering ourselves and others through prayer, 

                        study, and sharing.
